Our Suppliers

1. The rental and use of the pedal-assisted bicycle (hereinafter also the vehicle) presupposes the Customer's knowledge and unconditional acceptance of these regulations, the rates, and the Rental Company's opening and closing times as indicated.

2. To rent a pedal-assisted bicycle, the Customer must first present the Rental Company with a valid identity document and formalize the contract.

3. The use of bicycles is reserved for adults unless the minor is accompanied by an adult who assumes full responsibility for him or her.

4. Use of the bicycle presupposes the physical fitness and technical expertise of the rider. Therefore, by renting the bicycle, the Customer declares to have adequate capacity and appropriate expertise, without reservations and declares to hold the Rental Company harmless from any consequences. Wearing a helmet is mandatory.

5. The bicycle is to be used exclusively as a means of transportation and must be treated with care, common sense, and diligence to avoid damage to both the bicycle and its accessories. Use of the bicycle for commercial purposes is prohibited, nor may it be transferred to other parties for use.

6. The Customer is responsible for the electric bicycle until it is returned to the Rental Company; he or she is also responsible for any damage caused to himself or herself, the bicycle, third parties, or property while using the vehicle. The Rental Company cannot be held liable for any form of compensation.

7. During the rental period, the Customer does not have any form of insurance, nor is the e-bike covered by third-party liability insurance. The Customer is required to comply with the Highway Code. The Rental Company declines any liability for improper use of the vehicle or failure to comply with the Highway Code.

8. The Rental Company has taken out a suitable Insurance Policy for any damages incurred by the Customer due to reasons arising from the lack of or incorrect maintenance of the vehicle granted for use, attributable to the Rental Company.

9. The Rental Company may carry out checks on Users while they are using the bicycles and may request their return if it detects improper use of the vehicle. The Rental Company may refuse to rent to anyone who is intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, or for other reasons at its sole discretion.

10. In the event of loss of keys, bicycle accessories, or damage, the Rental Company will request the Customer to pay the sum necessary to restore the vehicle to its original condition, based on the attached price list, which is deemed to be known and accepted, except for any further damage documented in a quote from the supplier.

11. The bicycle must be returned, within the times communicated (9:00 am - 7:00 pm each day), to the same location where it was rented. The bicycle is considered returned only if returned directly to the rental company; parking the e-bike outside the rental location during closing hours is not considered a return. Failure to return the bicycle without prior notification, or in any case not justified by exceptional circumstances, will be reported to the judicial authorities.

12. The Customer may request the Rental Company to assist with the collection of the bicycle, the cost of which is indicated in the price list; however, the Rental Company is not required to provide assistance, and failure to provide assistance cannot constitute a cause for non-compliance attributable to the Rental Company.

13. The Customer must pay the fee in advance at the time of rental and is in any case required to pay any additional sums due for holding the vehicle beyond the required time and in any case until he/she presents himself/herself to close the rental contract, in addition to any charges for damages, total or partial theft.

14. In the event of theft of the electric bicycle, the Customer must submit a brief report to the Rental Company on the incident, specifying all the conditions of place, time and manner in which the event occurred, also providing maximum cooperation to the Rental Company so that the latter can file a formal complaint with the competent authorities and the Insurance Company.

15. In the event of theft, the Customer is required to compensate the Rental Company for any damages based on the Price List at the bottom of this Agreement. 16. For anything not provided for and regulated in this Agreement, the relationship between the Parties (contractors) is governed by the provisions of the Civil Code. For any dispute arising between the Parties, the competent court is the Court of Bari.
